Touchstone Pictures Shanghai Knights topped both the weekly DVD sales and rental charts. The action comedy, distributed by Buena Vista Home Entertainment, topped the VideoScan weekly First Alert DVD sales chart by a wide margin and took the No. 3 slot on VideoScan's First Alert VHS sales chart while earning an estimated $10.92 million during its first five days on rental store shelves.
On the rental side, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is cashing in with Phone Booth which earned an estimated $10.76 million in gross rental revenue last week, for a whopping 12-day rental cume of $22.3 million.
